Restaurant/ Café Zillemarkt - Bleibtreustraße 48a

Restaurant "Zillemarkt" is unfortunately a finished chapter. The old Berliner restaurant at Bleibtreustraße 48a, named after the graphic artist, painter and photographer Heinrich Zille, was an institution. It also attracted many tourists with its German and especially Berlin cuisine created according to the motto "Food like at mother's". The restaurant had a "biergarten" in the yard, where home-brewed beer was served. But now the Zillemarkt is closed, like so many other historical places.
Berlin project developer Primus Immobilien AG bought the property and commissioned architects Axthelm Rolvien to design new buildings. Primus Immobilien AG's primary projects are luxury condominiums or office buildings.

Zillemarkt is a really cozy café / restaurant, where on a warm day you could enjoy both the good food and drink, but also life in the center of Berlin

Restaurant/ Café Zillemarkt

The restaurant, café and the cozy Biergarten near the Kurfürstendamm are known for good German food in large quantities and large draft beers from their own brewery.

There is almost nothing like a German draft beer

There was also outdoor service in the cozy backyard ....

..... or out front in the charming street
